Last Friday we officially launched The Albacete Forum with a reception before Crossroads Cultural Center’s yearly Albacete Lecture. We want to thank Crossroads for welcoming us and all the friends who joined us to celebrate. The video of Fr. Julian Carron’s lecture is available to view online.
Tuesday, October 24 will mark the third anniversary of Lorenzo Albacete’s death. He will be remembered at the 12 noon Mass on Sunday, October 22 at St. Mary's Church, 440 Grand Street in Manhattan. All are invited to attend.
Finally, we must shamelessly plug our new appeal…
Yes, folks, it is indeed “the dark night of the wallet” here at The Albacete Forum. We need your help, so please consider making a donation. All contributions are tax deductible and will go toward helping us publish Monsignor Albacete’s writings, uncovering and archiving new material, and expanding the offerings on this magnificent website! And while you are making your donation, we also invite you to leave a memory or tribute to Lorenzo Albacete that will appear on our new MEMORIES page starting on October 24. (If you don't know what a "dark night of the wallet" is, we suggest you check out the WORKS page!)
